Satkhira Diploma Polytechnic Institute College Bangladesh

Satkhira Polytechnic Institute is the only polytechnic institute situated in Satkhira district of Bangladesh. It was established in the year 1970. The institute is determined to provide quality technical education to the students and build up skilled and qualified technicians in Satkhira and also all over Bangladesh. The institute is approved by the Ministry of Education of Government of Bangladesh. The activities of the institute is periodically regulated and inspected by the Board of Technical Education, Bangladesh. The institute’s courses and examinations are coordinated by the DTE.

Departments and Subjects

The institute provides technical education in various subjects. The departments of Satkhira Polytechnic Institute include Computer Technology, Electronics, Environmental, Refrigeration and Air condition technology. The courses are conducted by the expert and efficient teachers. The teaching method involves combination of both theoretical and practical education.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

The students with GPA 3.00 in SSC or equivalent examinations are eligible for the admission test arranged by Directorate of Technical Education. The students must have qualifying minimum GPA 3.00 in General Mathematics and Higher Mathematics. The students having GPA below 3.00 in Math will not be allowed to sit for the admission test. The students have to apply for participating in the admission test through the website of DTE given in the admission circular. They must pay TK. 200 via Teletalk SMS service to 16222.
