Chandpur Polytechnic Institute College in Bangladesh

Chandpur Polytechnic Institute a public polytechnic institute which was established in the year 2005. The nick name of the institute is CPI.

The institute operates under Board of Technical Education Bangladesh. The mission of the institute is to develop skilled technicians in Bangladesh and improve the technical education sector. It offers four years long diploma engineering degree in various subjects. It provides Industrial Attachment Training to the students after successful completion of the engineering courses.

Departments and Subjects

There are about 1500 students taking education from this institute, at present. The departments and subjects of Chandpur Polytechnic Institute include computer engineering, construction, electronics, refrigeration, and air condition engineering. The courses are taught in combination of both practical and theoretical learning. The teachers are very sincere and skilled in teaching the students.

The institute has a very big and well decorated library for the students where the students can sit and study books. The library has thousands of books and journals related to modern technologies. The institute has a four story building along with three large laboratory rooms. It has an auditorium which can accommodate 300 students. Admission Procedure and Eligibility

As the institute operates under the supervision of Board of Technical Education-Dhaka, the institute has to obey the rules and regulations determined by the regulatory body in case of admission. The directorate of the technical education arranges an admission test for the aspirants who are willing to get admitted in the government polytechnic institutes. The students have to apply online after the publication of the circular. The students must have GPA 3.5 in SSC or equivalent examination with GPA 3.00 in Mathematics or Higher Mathematics.
