Medical College Admission Test in all the government and non-government medical colleges take place every year. This year, the MBBS exam test will be held on October 2017. BDS exam will take place on 4 November. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under DGHS organizes this test. Every year, they publish exam notice on their official website.

Medical College Admission
Every year, DGHS conducts the
admission examination of the students those who want to study in
medical science. DGHS means Directorate General of Health Services. Pakistan govt founded DGHS in 1958. In 1980, BD government upgraded it into directorate general. Director General or DG is the head of DGHS. It is an agency of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of
Bangladesh.

Admission Procedure Requirements, and Eligibility
Health Ministry organizes entrance test. They conduct it for the government, independent, private and dental colleges. It asks for application from the candidates after the publication of the result of Higher Secondary Certificate examination.
At present, there is 22 government medical colleges. 53 non-government medical colleges are in Bangladesh. 2812 seats available are in the government medical colleges. 4245 seats are available in the non-government medical colleges. The dental colleges have 567 seats available. The number of seats varies as the college increase or decrease. DGHS is the main authority to declare the Examination date. The best students are eligible to get admission in MBBS degree course.
- The Applicants have to be Citizens of Bangladesh

The students must be from Science Background and have studied Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

The students must have minimum CGPA 8.00 combining the result of both SSC and HSC examination. Students having CGPA below 8.00 cannot apply unless exception.

The candidates GPA must not be below 3.50 in any board examination (SSC and HSC).

There are some relaxations for the tribal and non-tribal students. The tribal students must have combined CGPA 7 in SSC and HSC examination.

The candidates must have GPA 3.50 in Biology in the Higher Secondary Level exam.
Foreign Students
International students can participate in the Medical College Admission Test examination. The same rules mentioned above apply for the foreign students. They will have to apply through their embassy. They should send documents for admission through correct channel.

The candidates will have to upload a colored photograph with 300*300 pixels. The size of the photograph must not exceed 100 KB.

The Signature has to be 300*80 Pixels and the size not exceeding 60 KB.

The result of 2015-2016 had published. This year means 2016; the exam date is going to declare. The
