Liberal Arts University is a private university in Bangladesh. Full name is University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. The nickname of the university is ULAB. It is at Satmasjid Road, Dhaka-1209.
About Liberal Arts University Bangladesh
ULAB got permission from University Grant Commission (UGC) in the year 2003. The university started its journey from October 1, 2004. It started its operation in its original campus in Mohakhali, Dhaka. The university opened its campus in Dhanmondi at the end of the year 2006. In the summer of 2008, it opened its second campus in Dhanmondi. The university has two core values- Liberal Arts and Sustainable development. It is aim is to create technologically sophisticated and globally aware people. Because of the quality of education of this university, it has become one of the widely acclaimed universities in Bangladesh. Since its establishment it has been successful to provide quality education to the students because of its uncompromising nature.
Subjects and Departments
The degrees offered by the university include- BSS, BSc, MSc, BBA, and MBA. The university has four faculties. They are- School of Arts and Humanities, School of Social Science, School of Science and Engineering, and School of Business. Under School of Business, the university offers BBA, MBA and Evening MBA degrees to the students. The university has a group of qualified and skilled teachers whose main aim is to deliver superior quality education for the students so they can establish to purpose of the university and contribute in the development of the nation.
Facilities Available for the Students
It has air-conditioned class rooms with all kinds of modern equipments. The university has a very big library with good sitting arrangement. The library contains all kinds of books, journals and research papers. It also has an online library for the students. There is a study room for the students located next to the library of campus A. For the engineering students it has Software and computer labs with high configuration computers and internet facility. It also has telecommunication lab, media lab, and radio lab and seminar room. The cafeteria of the university serves fresh foods for the students.
Admission Information Procedure and Eligibility

The candidates must have minimum GPA 2.5 in both SSC and HSC examinations with minimum combined GPA 6.00.

For O-level, the student must have completed GPA 2.50 with five subjects, and for A-level, the students must have GPA 2.00 with two subjects.

The candidates with GRD can get admission. For admission the average point is 450 out of 800. Below 410 in any subject is not allowed.

The candidates have to download the application form from online and submit it with four copies of passport sized color photos, duly attested.

The candidates must also submit copies of all the certificates and mark sheets.
