It has launched on 16 July 1997. In a short time, it received very much recognition from the Bengali people whole over the world. The channel started to broadcast in South Asia on 16 July 1997. Broadcasts to Europe began in 2001. It can also be seen on the Internet. Programs are Natok, TV Serials, News, Health and many others. They have separate Bangla News Channel also.
