Narail District Information

Narail (নড়াইল ) is a district under Khulna Division. It is in the South-western part of  Bangladesh. Artist Sultan house is the main tourist spots in Narail.

Narail district was established on 1 March in 1984. It is one of the smallest districts in Bangladesh. It consists of 2 municipalities, 18 wards, 43 Mahallas, 3 Upazilas. Narail sweetmeats made from milk are very famous. The town was named after a feudal lord. Great artist MA Sultan and Udahy Shankar are from this districts. The official web portal is narail.gov.bd.

Upazilas and Thanas 

There are three Upazilas in Naril. They are Kalia,  Lohagara, and Narail Sadar Upazila. Under these Thanas, there are 37, Union Parishads, 445 Mouzas and 649 villages.

The district is  bounded By Magura district on the north, Khulna districts on the south, Faridpur and Gopalganj district on the east and Jessore districts on the west.
