Primeasia University is a famous private university in Bangladesh. It is at Banani, Dhaka-1213. The nickname of the University is PU.
About Primeasia University
The University started its journey in the year 2003. The university had a very humble beginning with only a few students. At present, the university is experiencing tremendous growth in its operation. Presently, about 5000 students are enrolled in various departments of the university making it one of the largest private universities in Bangladesh according to the number of students. The university has about 200 permanent and guest faculty members. The growth has taken place because of uncompromising nature of the university regarding providing quality education and student service. The university is approved by University Grant Commission and the Ministry of Education of the Bangladesh Government. Since, the establishment, the University has been playing a very significant role in the development of the quality of education in the private sector.
Subjects and Departments
The university has four faculties- School of Business, Engineering, Science, and Law. There are 17 major departments in these four faculties. The major departments include- Textile, Mechanical, EEE, CSE, Architecture, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, PHN, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, ITHM, BBA, MBA, and Law. The faculties of this university are highly educated and committed to providing the best education to the students. The University blends the eastern and western culture in providing education to the students. The university has multimedia classrooms for the students with all kinds of modern facilities.
Facilities Available for the Students
The university has a very big library with thousands of books, journals, periodicals, research papers, and magazines. The university has the computer based navigation system for the students. Hence, the students can find out the necessary books very easily. The library has a very pleasing environment where the students can study without any distraction. It has labs facility for the students which are equipped all kinds of modern equipment. For the male and female students, there is the separate common room service. For the meritorious and underprivileged students, the university has various scholarship programs. It provides the waiver on tuition fee for the students having GPA above 3.75 every semester.
Admission Information Procedure and Eligibility

The candidates of O-level and A-level and having GED can also apply for admission in the university.

The students having GPA-5 in SSC and HSC will get 100% waiver on the course fee.
