Kumudini Medical College (KWMC) is a women's medical college associated with Kumudini Hospital at Mirzapur in Tangail, Bangladesh. The new hospital complex was established in 2001. The total area is 110 acres of land. The original hospital was established in 1944 by the great philanthropist Ranada Prasad Shaha. The College offers a five‑year MBBS degree. Foreign students can be admitted here. It is entirely a residential college inside the Kumudini Campus. There is a safe environment for the girls. The security, discipline, academic atmosphere, and learning facilities are matters of pride for KWMC. The college started a four‑year BDS degree in 2012. It is one of the reputed private medical colleges in Bangladesh.
Candidates have to pass SSC and HSC exams from the science group with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The total grade point will be an average of 8.00 for both examinations. Generally, MBBS admission is offered after HSC results are published. Students having O‑level and A‑level qualifications should apply with the certificate of equivalence issued by the competent authority.
