Khulna University of Engineering & Technology ( খুলনা প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ) established in July 1969. Commonly it is known as KUET. Previously it was known as Khulna Engineering College (1967-1986), then Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), (1986-2003).The present ranking of the varsity is 7831. KUET offers engineering education in both UG (undergraduate) and PG (post-graduate) levels.Every year, more than five hundred students are graduated from this versity at different branches on engineering and technology. Its motto is “Oh Lord! Bestow me with Knowledge.”

The aim of the university is to offer excellent undergraduate and postgraduate programs executed by eminent lecturers and professors who are scholars in their own fields. There are nearly 200 academic staff who are always engaged in encouraging students to do excellent in their studies and research programs. There are nearly 3000 local students and some international candidates studying in three faculties and sixteen departments.

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology boasts on its 101-acre campus facilitated with world class amenities including academic buildings, halls of residence, teacher dormitory and residences, auditorium complex, laboratories, administrative building, engineering workshops, cafeteria, gymnasium and other facilities.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

Varsity takes an admission test to finalize the admission. Admission forms are published for UG programs in the national dailies after the result of H.S.C (Higher-Secondary School Certificate) exam. It can also download from its official website www.kuet.ac.bd.
