Feni University is a private university in Bangladesh started its journey from December 09, 2010. The nickname of the university is FU.
About Feni University
At the beginning the university started its journey on project basis based on an informal meeting of some elite locals having interest on promotion of higher education in region. The university got approval from Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission (UGC) in November 2012 under 2010 private university act. It has got the approval to run nine academic programs BA, B.Sc, LLB, BBA, MBA, Textile Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. The mission of the university is to promote and inculcate ethical standards, values and norms among the students.
Subjects and Departments
The university has three faculties having 12 departments. The faculties include- Faculty of Business Studies, Science and Engineering, and Faculty of Arts, Social Science & Law. Subjects in the business faculty include- Finance, Management, Accounting, and Marketing. The university has a group of highly qualified teachers in each subject. They are very skilled and committed to provide high quality education to the students.
Facilities Available for the Students
The university offers 100% waiver for the students with Golden GPA-5 in both HSC and SSC. The students with GPA-5.00 are given waiver of 50%. Students having GPA 4.8 to 4.99 are given 20% waiver on cost. It has a very big library with thousands of books in all the subjects. There is common room facility for both male and female students. Feni University admits students in BBA, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, English, and LLB.

The students have to collect the admission form from university campus with fee of Tk. 500. The students can also collect the form from website and submit it with the fee.

The students must have passed SSC and HSC examination with minimum GPA 2.5 in both the board exams.

The students have to submit the photocopy of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonial and photos with the application form.

The students will have to sit for an admission test to be able to qualify for admission in Feni University.
