About City Dental College

The college provides a Bachelor of Dental Surgery to students who want to become dental health care specialists. The primary objective of the college is to build up skilled dental healthcare surgeons in Bangladesh. It is aimed at delivering regular dental health care education to the students and service to the patients. At present, it is affiliated with the University of Dhaka which is recognized all over the world. The college is approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC). The name of the honorable principal is Dr. Prof. Emdadul Haq.

Facilities Available for the Students

It has a separate hostel facility for both male and female candidates. It has a modern and standard infrastructure to ensure a better learning environment. The academic activities are conducted through reputed and experienced teachers. There are tutorial rooms, labs, classrooms, and theater rooms equipped with modern technology. The college has a library with sufficient books and a high-speed internet facility.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

The admission takes place according to the rules and regulations of the government. The DGHS (Director General of Health and Services) takes an entrance examination for the candidates. The candidates securing a minimum merit score of 120 will be considered to be eligible for the course. About 5% of students will be admitted to underprivileged and meritorious quotas.

Finally, selected students have to collect an admission form from the office paying a non-refundable TK. 1000 and submit it with the following documents: Original certificate, mark sheet, and testimonial of SSC, HSC, or equivalent examination which will be held by the college until the end of the course Recent colored passport-size photos with the original admission test admit card and result sheet Students under quota have to apply through government mentioned procedures.
