History of Bangladesh Supreme Court

Bangladesh Supreme Court has two divisions. The divisions are Court Division and Appellate Division. It is the office of chief justice, high court division, and appellate division justice. At present, there are seven judges in appellate division and ninety-seven judges in the high court division. The Supreme Court has a charming building that exhibits the respect of the Bangladeshi people to the laws and regulations of the country.

Transportation and Communication

The court is very close to Press Club of Paltan and Ramna Park. It is also very close to Curzon Hall of the University of Dhaka. One can visit this area by bus, taxi or rickshaw. Buses are available from all parts of Dhaka that take people to Paltan, Sahabag or Motijheel. You can get down from the bus in these areas and then rent a rickshaw or taxi to reach the Supreme Court area. It may cost 30 to 50 Tk. It is about 15.3 Kilometres away from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and may take approximately 25 minutes without traffic.
