Bangladesh's International Subscriber Dialing (ISD) code is +880. The plus sign (+) can be replaced with the international trunk prefix (00). Each region in Bangladesh has its own STD (area) code.
Calling from abroad: Dial +880 (or 00880), then the area code (without the leading 0), then the local phone number.
Calling within Bangladesh: Dial the area code (which includes a leading 0), then the local number.
Example: For a Dhaka (area code 02) number:
International format: +880 2 XXXXXXXX
Domestic format: 02 XXXXXXXX
